It’s been an exceptionally busy year at the Provo Golf Club, where the summer featured a major grounds project, and winter brought a significant equipment upgrade.

“Superintendent Tim Mack and his team have put in tremendous effort and expertise during the renovation and regrassing of the front nine with Platinum Paspalum sprigs,” said Dave Douglas, Provo Golf Club director. The new grass variety is known for its dark green playing surfaces, smooth, fast greens and high traffic-tolerance.

More exciting news came with the arrival of new golf carts and a complete restocking of Provo’s rental club inventory, including Titleist premium clubs. With more than 70 new sets of rental clubs in stock, Provo Golf Club can accommodate everyone from the most avid player to the absolute beginner. The inventory is intended to make travel easier for golfers visiting Providenciales, as they’ll no longer need to pack theirs from home.

Additionally, the club has rolled out a new smartphone app with on-course GPS, and acquired equipment designed by US Kids Golf to encourage family play.
