The iconic global sports brand PUMA has long collaborated with cultural figures, luxury designers and national heroes to present fresh and exciting twists on their relaxed modern sportswear. From the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt, to the creative director of Chanel and Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld, PUMA has a lengthy track record of choosing the very best in the field for their collaborations.

If you’re a fan, perhaps you’re probably already familiar with one of their latest partners, internationally acclaimed artist Bradley Theodore. Here in the Turks & Caicos, however, we also know the South Caicos born painter as a native son of the soil.

As our summer 2016 cover star launches his second collection of strikingly vibrant street wear staples with PUMA, we’re taking a moment to celebrate a momentous collaboration that’s sure to keep us cool (at least fashion wise) from spring to summer 2019.

Theodore’s first collection of four pieces, produced in honor of PUMA’s iconic Suede 50th anniversary, included a paint stroke tracksuit, t-shirt, and sneakers. The pieces were enormously popular, even selling-out in numerous locations.

Thankfully, the Spring-Summer ’19 collection, which dropped on January 12th, 2019 featuring a whopping 23 individual pieces; giving us a second chance to rock one of the freshest collections of sportswear on the market.

Global sports brand PUMA and Theodore reunited to create a vibrant 23-piece street art inspired lifestyle collection for Spring- Summer ’19. The collection became available Jan. 12 on PUMA.com and in select boutiques worldwide.

A mix of classic and progressive PUMA styles, the collection highlights Theodore’s hand-painted all over graphics, brushstrokes and color blocking with ‘CREATIVITY IS CULTURE’ printed under the tongue and a rubberized patch of his signature skull-icon on the sneakers. With apparel and accessories to complete the look, the collection features the PUMA x Bradley Theodore Reversible Bomber adorned with rubber print graphics of a skull on the left chest, paint stripes on the upper left sleeve with crossed bone artwork.

Bringing the same cohesive coolness to the crew t-shirt that features Theodore’s signature embroidery, PUMA word marks both graphic rubber and the skull graphic on the print. In addition to a range of tees and track pants from the collection, the artist completes the look with PUMA x Bradley Theodore Tote Bag with 3D and silicon print, PUMA x Bradley Theodore Hip Bag with all over print and curved caps with snapback adjuster.

Light, colorful, and effortlessly cool, we think the new Spring-Summer ’19 Puma x Bradley Theodore collection embodies a perfect vibe for our islands. Here at home we’ll be wearing the collection with relaxed island swagger and an extra dose of national pride.
